Covid-19 Policy

Our Covid-19 Policy

At My Next Adventure not only do we want you to enjoy your adventure with us, but we also want you to feel safe and comfortable given the current Covid-19 situation. We have implemented a number of policies which will instil visitors with confidence when discovering with My Next Adventure.

Fáilte Ireland Covid-19 Safety Charter

My Next Adventure has been awarded the Fáilte Ireland Covid-19 Safety Charter. This is a government endorsed initiative which helps reinforce confidence in visitors. By being awarded this charter, My Next Adventure agrees to follow the recommended guidelines for the adventure sector. All our employees have undertaken Covid-19 safety and hygiene control training and we have a dedicated Covid-19 Lead Worker Representative. Under this charter, we are subject to regular inspections to ensure that we are adhering to all recommended guidelines.

Bookings are Not Mixed

Each booking is allocated their own personal guide(s) for the duration of their trip. This ensures that customers are not interacting with other customers outside of their bubble. We have found that customers enjoy having their own personal guide(s) as they get a tailored adventure depending on their previous experience and interests.

Booking in Advance is Essential

If you are looking to book an adventure with us, be sure to book in advance! Due to the popularity of our trips and not mixing bookings we are unable to accomodate walk-ins. Give us a ring or check out our booking platform to see the next availability.

Hand Sanitiser is Readily Available

Hand sanitiser is available for all customers and staff to use and we will encourage you to avail of it. You are welcome to bring your own personal hand sanitiser with you out on the water should you wish to do so. Staff will be regularly sanitising their hands before and after distributing or handling equipment.

Staff Will Wear Face Coverings

While our experience is in the outdoors, members of staff will wear face coverings when within close proximity of customers. Such instances include when equipment is distributed and when aiding you into and out of your kayak.

Equipment is Sanitised

All our equipment is sanitised between uses. This includes all wearable equipment, kayaks and paddles.

Designated Group Contact

When booking, the person creating the booking will automatically be assigned as the designated group contact. This means that should any contact tracing be required to be carried out by the HSE that this designated group contact will act as the point of contact for other members of their booking if required.

Declaration Form

In the interest of the safety of both customers and staff, in the 24 hours prior to the trip adventurers will be asked to complete a declaration form. This form asks if all members of the booking are free from Covid-19 symptoms and have not been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the previous 14 days. Similarly, those who have been advised that they are close contacts and have yet to undergo a Covid-19 test will be asked to reschedule their adventure. The same applies for our team members.

At the time of booking, adventurers will be asked if all members of their booking will have been on the island of Ireland for the 14 days previous to their trip. Those who will not be on the island of Ireland for the 14 days prior to their trip will be asked if they have received a negative PCR in Ireland.

Contactless Payment

We are not accepting cash at this time and have gone primarily contactless. We utilise Stripe as a method of payment, which can be completed upon booking.

These policies are in place for the safety of our customers and staff. If you have any questions or queries regarding our Covid-19 policies and procedures, feel free to contact us and one of our helpful team members will assist you.
